Let's Talk About It....

Changes and updates are always essential to keep the blog running! One wise suggestion from a fellow wife was to change the settings so anyone is allowed to comment on the posts. (Unfortunately your lovely blog master didn't realize she had it set to only allow certain people to comment. Sorry!)

So.....comment away!

Let's get started with a question: What are you looking forward to this Christmas? Are there any special prayer requests as you prepare for holiday travels: in-laws, presents (on a budget), last minute packing...ahh...aren't the holidays lovely :)

Hopefully, we'll all be able to set the temporary aside and focus on the message of hope and liberty our Savior brings: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come." (Luke 4)

What a wonderful Savior! Let's celebrate HIM this season!

Prayer request . . . usually, our large family get-together with my in-laws is so fun, but nothing spiritually meaningful. WELL this year the Lord has laid it on my heart to turn the focus to Him for a while. 2 aunts, 1 uncle, my husband, sis-in-law and me will be leading the family in a time of worship with carols and scripture readings. Last Sunday at church, I really felt like God was asking me to also share a brief personal testimony. SO please pray for our preparation and for the hearts of those that don't know Jesus to be soft and Open to the gospel message!

Thanks! And may you have a blessed Christmas this year!

Exciting that the Lord has given you this idea, Teresa. May He give you wisdom, boldness and grace as you obey.
